Live from Burke's Bookstore
Oct. 25th, 2021 09:26 amLast night was the show up at Burke's for the Pas Moi album release. It was much fun. There were four people that showed up in person other than the musicians (one, the guy running the sound and video and two, Jeremiah's wife, so just two regular bystanders so it was nice and uncrowded). I was first and I did my Virginia Woolf piece and I think it probably went pretty well. Then Jeremiah Matthews played and his set was nice. And Pas Moi finished the night and it was a good set with lots of cassette tape manipulation and accordion. Afterwards I picked up their newly released cd: Pas Moi: I'm Not Me I'm Roy Orbison.
Okay, now to re-cap the day earlier. Mary Beth and I went on a walk and didn't see as many cats but we saw some and it was a good walk. Then I got to do a full run through the tape once. I'd gotten a pretty good handle on pacing by then so I felt good and then I think how it actually went at the show was probably the overall best of my performing with it (I probably didn't get as many luckily great quotes/sound clips as sometimes during practice, but it went along just fine and dandy). I think that's it, okay.
