Yesterday at work I finally got the thing I've been working on to at least where it's not looking like total crap, so that's a milestone! I got super pissed at Duolingo yesterday. This was the first week since I've been doing it and I'd been on the diamond league that I'd gotten booted down to another league (and first time booted down ever, really, I'd only ever ascended until made it to diamond). I'd played on Sunday earlier in the day and seemed to be fine, not towards the top but not right on the bottom, but I didn't check back later and I got nudged out. So fucking annoying. I guess it doesn't really matter, but I'd liked keeping that up. And it's such a crapshoot given it depends on who you happen to get grouped with for the week. One week I can be not doing anything special and be right up at the top and then another week I can be struggling to do extra much and be down towards the bottom. I forget how many weeks it was, but it was a lot. I'm sure over a year. Then we went and picked up our clicklist groceries. Definitely jacket weather now. On that note, I got my first sitting-on in bed from Trudy of the season. Very nice! I have a request from Mary Beth to share her bon mot, "You smell like a diaper. Not in a Genet way." [chef's kiss]
