So the festival is over! Yesterday went the smoothest of all. No actual errors. No sets lost. Woo! In the morning I learned how to clear the linux cache. Maybe that helped, I did it once in the middle. Also did a couple shut-offs of the nginx server in between sets and maybe that also was what did it. But it went well and once again everyone was awesome. And man, Evicshen really came through! That was the one I was most excited about (no diss on anyone else, she was just the one person that I didn't know beforehand (not counting a few locals) and that I was already a fan of and just approached cold and was surprised when she agreed!...and I tell ya, I was even intimidated for a while and once almost did and then chickened out but finally got around to it later). But she did the thing I'd seen her do recently where she has vinyl needles attached to fake fingernails and she scratches records with them (which are also spun on a motor and not a regular turntable) and it's cool and she also had this toy laser thing or something that made an amazingly horrible noise. But man, it was all a good time. It's amazing to me how many great musicians we have out there just sitting around. What else? I finished the weekend by polishing off half the case of Mexicoke (I really drank more than I had the other days just to catch up and reach that benchmark of emptying the cooler). I don't guess I have much else. Weird that it's all over now! Well, off to work, I guess!
