I finished reading The Reprieve by Jean-Paul Sartre yesterday. It was really good, I was actually a bit surprised given that it's in the middle of a trilogy and I liked it so much more than the first book (and really all the other stuff of his I'd read...though I liked the play "No Exit" a lot). It does kind of a stream-of-consciousness thing, but that's not quite right. Maybe a little bit. More like stream of actuality (I guess there's some "consciousness" thrown in there). Its anchor is time (the days leading up to the Munich Agreement and Czechoslovakia's getting fucked a year or so before WWII broke out and when everyone was certain war was about to break out) and it jumps around without break or indication around a whole bunch of different people. Okay, I know this explanation isn't doing any justice. Anyway, I liked it. After work I walked up to the car place and picked the car up. We have a/c now and that's very nice for this time of year! I did the practice run for the show (with most of the artists...I forgot to mention yesterday that I did a separate practice run with Ricky the day before). I was having issues and had to restart the router a couple times. It was still choppy coming off my end so I'll have to look into that before the show. It was fine the day before when we did the other test run. Eh, we'll see.
