So it's a new year and stuff. Had a pretty nice covid-era new year's eve. Got off work early, not that I was really working much anyway. I got some cds in the mail: Cabaret Voltaire: Chance Versus Causality, The Moving Parts: Wrong Conclusion, and The Residents: Commercial Album. Mary Beth and I had these cheesesteaks we'd gotten ordered through mail from somewhere in Philadelphia. We ate them while watching The Secret of Grain which was quite good. We also used games to stay up til midnight (and earlier, just because). We played some Sleeping Queens, Lost Cities, and Ticket to Ride. My brain must have been checked out 'cuz I did some of the worst playing ever (in that, I had moves to do that I could do and I just at some point forgot to do them and harmed myself point-wise, this happened in multiple games...doh!). I got much more rest last night so hopefully my brain's back to better. We did manage to stay up and drank non-alcoholic champagne and had a nice, quiet (, typical for us on new year's eve, really) evening. Okay, let's see what this year's got goin' on.
