Yesterday was a little eventful in a completely uneventful way. I went and did my reading/listening to music in my car thing and I finally got to where I was careless enough to let the battery run down. So it wouldn't start back up. I was able to jump it from Mary Beth's car but it took two attempts 'cuz the first time, just after I'd gotten the hoods up, it started to rain. But later after we watched a movie I got it jumped and took it for a little bit of a drive. So the movie. We watched The Worlds of Ursula K. Le Guin, a documentary about exactly what the title says it's about! (Pretty apt timing too since I'm currently reading one of her books and am almost finished with it.) I got a book in the mail: The Elvis Machine by Kim Vodicka (I'd preordered it a ways back when we played a show together and she drunkenly pestered me to preorder it). Then I randomly bumped my foot against the base of my chair and tore open the boil or whatever that's been next to my left ankle for forever and it was bleeding and stuff and gross and it didn't hurt so much as the mental knowledge of it was cringe-inducing (mental knowledge?). Not much else. I spent a whole lot of time doing duolingo and reading. Had trouble falling asleep right away last night and not sure why. Well, time for a new day.
