Belated Diwali

ateolfWent to a show up at Two Rivers last night. It was good stuff! Bruiser was first and was good as always! Next was Pas Moi and they were also good as always. The touring group was called JPH and they had a very minimally stark and repetitive indie-folk-based sound. They sat on the floor and the songs were driven by the singer's acoustic guitar arpeggios. The other two musicians alternated between harmonium, omnichord, and electric guitar. Their stuff was really good. The lyrics were very repetitive as well. Saw a lot of people at the show and hung out a little bit. Today at work was the Diwali celebration (a little late, but I'm not complaining). So I had a bunch of good, catered Indian food (from Curry Bowl, I hear) and even mango lassi! Well, I guess that's about it.
