Last night Mary Beth went to see an encore screening for Indie Memphis up at Powerhouse. Hadn't been there before, but it's a Malco theater. Looks like they food they have might be actually good-good? Not just the usual microwave fare, unless Brigid was eating something from somewhere else. The theaters are those new fancy ones with a fuckin' reclining seats. It's weird 'cuz since they recline there has to be so much goddamn space for each aisle. I mean, I guess it's cool it's not crammed but it's kinda weird. I tried the recliner to see what it'd be like, but it felt like it'd be too weirdly comfy and I could just drift off to sleep during the movie so I just sat regular. Anyway, the movie we watched! It was Best before Death, a documentary about what Bill Drummond is up to these days. It was okay, I've never been into The KLF or any of that stuff (not that he likes to talk about it or bring attention to that now). His current art project is this many-year tour thing where he repeats certain acts in different countries. There were some moments from it that I liked, but it didn't really grab me overall. There was work today, not much from that as usual. Anyhow...

KLF is more one to me that represents something great via the mythos they've established, but was also not particularly into their stuff. More the "I respect them even if its' not my bag" thing.
