Had a post-Memphis Concrète meeting last night. There seemed to be a general negative feeling but I'm not sure if that was propagated mainly from a single source or if it was more generally felt. I know there were negative things, but I felt the positive outweighed them. Anyway, we'll see as the dust settles even more in a few weeks. Other than that, work, yeah, that's about it.

Was this feeling just an emotional vibe? or were there attitudes/tones taken by some people when talking?
Did some people try to out concrete others with louder noise?

What is this? A sort of quasi-formal gathering of concrete musicians to jam? discuss? tea n biscuits?

Memphis Concrète is the experimental electronic music festival I started in 2017 and just had its third year. The vibe I'm talking about is not the festival itself, just those of us on the planning committee getting together to discuss how it went afterwards. The vibe mostly concerns the subject of loss of money (and other "paragraphs" from one person of things that didn't go well that are still yet-to-be-revealed).
