Tape Mess

I traded a cassette deck for a drum machine with Paul yesterday. So I was able to transfer my music onto cassette, finally! I also stumbled through taking the cassette apart and cutting it up into a whole bunch of pieces. Right now it seems like I've just got a huge mess on my hands. It didn't cut as nicely as I'd expected. The cassette tape is so thin, really it just broke apart at contact with the blade and generally didn't cut at an angle as I was hoping it would. I don't know much about how it's gonna work trying to spool it back together. Feel like it's going to be a disaster I'll have to abandon, but we'll see. Also, Mary Beth and I took a trip to Ikea. First time ever going and it's gotta to have been here a few years by now. I actually enjoyed the experience. We were checking out some furniture in person though not getting anything, just checking it out for future possibilities. Had some meatballs that were good (though their fountain drinks are very watered-down and bad). What else? Oh yeah, something from Saturday I forgot to mention previously. For dinner, Mary Beth shucked oysters for the first time ever and they were good and we didn't get sick or anything so woo!
