ateolf | guitars make rock'n'roll

yesterday i came up w/ a cool tuning for my machine-gun shpaed guitaar...it's very wussy and indie sounding...perfect for the irony of being on a guitar shaped like a machine-gun...today, Jacques and i wrote a rad song around the tuning...i was playing guitar and he was playing bass...i mostly open-strum w/ some variations in parts...it's really cool...it sounds somewhere between Yo La Tengo's "From a Motel 6" (i think that's the song, it's off of Painless anyhow...) and Sonic Youth's "Tom Violence" if that gives any perspective...which i'm sure it doesn't...but ummm yea...that's all i guess...maybe the rest of the band will eventually happen...(haha!)
