Purple Shaft

ateolfOn Sunday Mary Beth and I watched Purple Rain. I've never been a fan of Prince's music so I've been mum in the wake of his passing. It was kinda fun to rewatch this. I hadn't seen it since I was at school in Knoxville (jesus, yeah, that was 19 fucking years ago). We met my parents and sister and nephews at Soul Fish for dinner since we were gonna meet up with Mary Beth's parents (had they made it to town). Yesterday after work we went up to Stax for a screening of Shaft, which I'd never seen before. I didn't expect to hate it or anything, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. Anyway, then work today and that's about it.
