Forgetting

stuff i forgot to mention last night...

sunday night, while studying for my exam, i ended up procrastinating some and wrote a guitar part for the "With You without Me" lyrics i wrote in the not so distant past...i had written them to go w/ another song Jacques and i had started writing, but Jacques ended up already having lyrics...(it's okay 'cuz one small part wasn't fitting well w/ how the song was anyway...) but i think the guitar part's really cool...it reminds me kind've of Secret Name meets Confusion Is Sex w/ little Marquee Moon breaks in between...

there was something else i was gonna mention...damnit...i'm forgetting...again...shit...i'll prob'ly come back and add a footnote when i remember...

from the future: here's that footnote...i let Keith borrow Marquee Moon and Psychocandy...Brad also borrowed a few of my cds but i don't remember all whiche ones (i remember some) but he picked 'em out himself anyway...it wasn't like "hey, Brad, remember that new sound you've been looking for, well listen to this!" as it was w/ Keith...yea...i guess that's all...

i didn't get Marquee Moon 'til sophomore year in college...and i didn't even get Psychocandy 'til last year...(i had had Automatic for years...but that hardly counts...though i had had Barbed-Wire Kisses for a couple years...some of that comes close...) but those are definately two of the greatest albums ever...high school or no...
