not a snow day

snow is less fun when you actually have to go to work...it was pretty bad out, i was the only 11:30 person who showed up...on the way there, almost there actually, my car skidded going around the curve in shady oaks and for about one second i was sure i was going to hit a fire hydrant...luckily i didn't hit anything, not even the curb...i guess i wasn't going perilously fast for the ice or anything...and the center's one part time worker did show up for her shift at 4...they weren't letting anyone cut and i heard that everyone who didn't show up was getting an occurance...well, oddly maybe an hour after all the morning people left with just the two of us, they suddenly decided cutting was okay...she cut, i didn't...didn't see the point in not working those two hours or so...so, once again, i was the only person til the end...on the way home there was a wreck on the interstate just a little in front of me...i didn't see it happen, but it it looked like it happened while i was driving up towards the spot (right before the overpass of 240)...there was an suv turned sideways and at first, from my angle, i couldn't tell it was damaged so i wasn't sure if they'd just spun around and were okay and trying to merge back into traffic so i slowed down a lot...but the other side was smashed a bit and there was another car pulled over to the side that i think was smashed in the rear, i'm pretty sure but there's a chance my memory is lying...anyway, the car in front of me pulled over and i was considering also pulling over to see if anyone needed help or anything, but then i decided since the other car did and it didn't look like a bad wreck, i'm sure it happened at 40 mph at the highest, so i figured they'd be fine without me...but as soon as i started driving away i felt bad like i should have pulled over anyway...now i'm safe and home and hopefully they're at least safe...
