Feb. 19th, 2003 02:17 ami was barely able to wake up this morning (afternoon)...i did manage to drag myself out of bed and show up a little more than 20 min late for class...for about 15 min, i took a nap out in my car before heading to work and i semi-woke up for a second and for that second i thought i was at home in bed...kind've weird, considering i was in my car, not even fully horizontal...i trained this new guy at work...it was pretty slow...i ended up leaving before 7:30...i went over to Adam's where we watched a few more episodes of Six Feet Under...we ordered Camy's again...this time Rusty brought it...funny 'cuz i ended up showing him how to do the credit card right...not too long after that i ended up going to the Deli to see Guitar Wolf...it was after 11:30, for some reason i was expecting Guitar Wolf to already have started...American Deathray Music was playing when i arrived...the place was so fucking packed...i was sure i wouldn't be able to find anyone i knew...right off i did see Travis, who i work w/...i exchanged a brief greeting w/ him then Paul waved me down...so i spent the evening over in the corner w/ him and Katie...Guitar Wolf played next...and, well, it was Guitar Wolf...i spent most of the time being annoyed by the indie kids surrounding me (i HATE indie kids) and having to take a dump...right after Paul and Katie left, Guitar Wolf did something pretty cool...they took some guy out of the crowd and had him play guitar while the guitarist concentrated on his screaming...i left when they were done...i had a feeling they'd do an encore but i wasn't that interested...and from the large roar i heard erupt from the Deli several yards behind me as i walked away, i knew they had....as i stated earlier, my need to take a dump greatly surpassed any need to see Guitar Wolf any more...when i got home i found a package containing a Moogerfooger 12-Stage Phaser waiting for me...i can't wait to play it...too bad it doesn't look like it's going to have a practice space to house it now...well, good night and god bless...or something...
