and about the party last night: i forgot to mention that i had as an accessory to my Lou Reed "costume": a "switch"...(actually a spoon...but that's just so it'd hurt a lot more whens i cuts ya!) i went and got a new tire today...the old one was beat-up beyond repair...my other front tire's about there too...(and my rear tires ain't no spring chickens either...) i actually didn't get the cheapest tire for a replacement either...there were two cheaper ones...and the one i got was not cheap at all...though i almost made it all back at work tonight...-$6...after that i actually cleaned my car out...i haven't done so since at least right before i left on my Sonic Youth roadtrip a few months ago...i filled a trash bag, of course...it's weird w/ it being relatively clean now...work was pretty busy tonight...at first at least...the last bit was pretty slow...but i guess that was a chance to get caught up on cleaning and crap...my biggest tip was, ironically enough, from 201 Poplar 12th floor communications...(for those who don't know, 201 is Memphis' main police station/jail/court...and 12th floor communications is the 911 dispatch place...where these stupid bitches work and sit at a computer w/ a head phoneset and do the 911 type calls and maybe other stuff like that while ordering food and barely to not tipping...) though, calling it "A tip" is a bit inacurate, as there were 8 separate orders...but between all of them i amassed $9...if all orders there were like that then the thought of going there would no longer make me cringe...so now that i've blathered on about pointless crap that no one cares about and even less ppl will actually have the paticence to read, i'll quit this...but i changed my mind, because i forgot to mention the fact that my mom returned yesterday w/ Lizzie and Lacey...so now all three doggies are back...rock ünd roll...
