After work I finished reading Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado. This was the first entry for me on the receiving end of our new Spousal Book Club. Every quarter or so, we each pick a book we've read for the other spouse to read and then we can talk about them! This first one was quite good and most of the stories in it were very good! Can't wait to talk about it with Mary Beth. Jacques had his car in the shop and needed a ride to go pick up and I went and did that. Then I met Mary Beth in the Park and we walked around the pond looking at turtles and stuff. Later at night I worked a little more on my set for that next show I'm playing. I mostly started getting the modular set up (the one case I'll be bringing, the one that doesn't disagree with The Lamplighter's power, which is why I'm bringing all the other stuff I'll be bringing). I'm enjoying the sounds I've got so far though I'll eventually be combining it with the vocoder so who knows how it'll turn out!
