Stuff & Thing

Mary Beth and I went out to this place called Bog & Barley out in east Memphis. We went for Josh's birthday and there was also Molly, Rachel, Gary, and Dustin (and the kids off at their own table). The place is kind of like if you took the concept of Spaghetti Warehouse and ran it through a bougie-fied lens to create an Irish pub. So the atmosphere was a bit cheesy and upscalish, but then the food was surprisingly good. I mentioned in my last post how I had a relatively heavy lunch yesterday (not crazy-heavy but burger so while I wasn't stuffed it was pretty filling) followed by a little bit of ice cream. So then since we were meeting for this dinner that was pretty late at night for us (given it was based around Molly's work schedule), we had a light dinner in the earlier evening. So then (even though the first one was light) I'm here having two dinners and one of them is Irish pub food. I had a lot of tasty stuff though I didn't eat as much as I would have (had I not spent the day stuffing myself up in a rare fashion) and I did leave there thoroughly stuffed after this meal. It was good to see everyone and hang out. Josh finally had the job at Blizzard go through (literally just in time for his birthday) so that's pretty exciting for him and he's happy to be leaving the whole startup thing behind. Anyway, now it's a new day. Still feeling full so gotta concentrate on digesting it all before more food happens today...!
