Office and Stuff

Yesterday at lunch I finished reading The Promise by Silvina Ocampo and it was absolutely fantastic. I also got this cd in the mail: Seah: Clouds & Spaces. At night Mary Beth and I went and did an errand run at Target. Headway being made on the live soundtrack and all three of us now have sections assigned! This morning I had to go into the office for work. It was pretty low key. We were treated to lunch (at the Flying Saucer, but then Avi treated us as usual to ice cream). I almost had a big headache with the parking because I was under the impression facilities was aware of our presence and we didn't have to do anything extra. So I didn't when I arrived in the morning. But then as I was leaving others were talking about validation when they came in so I went to see about getting validated, but then they said they couldn't retroactively validate me from the morning and I had to go see a supervisor who couldn't do anything and then had to get my manager and then back to the other security desk people and then get the supervisor's manager. He finally said they could put me in and just hope I wouldn't be ticketed. But then he looked me up and I was showing as still existing in the system so I was covered anyway (we'd previously been told that system was no longer being used and we wouldn't have access but I guess it's still floating around in there, okay!). Okay, now it's Friday time.
