Yesterday Alex texted me to see if I could do a brief interview about Luís and his time in Memphis before he moves away. I was working and in a meeting at the time so I said I'd get back to him, which I did a few hours later, but then he said he already had to turn in his copy. (Well that was very last minute! I don't feel bad about missing it but would have been nice to get the chance.) I also got this cd in the mail: Matmos: Regards​/​Ukłony dla Bogusław Schaeffer. After work Mary Beth and I went downtown to the Poor People's March (it has a much longer official name, but I'll stick to that). We started at Robert Church Park and there were a few speakers there and then we marched down to the Civil Rights Museum and there were more speakers. It was good. The only problem for me was at times it got loud and I didn't think to bring my earplugs. At a few moments I had to stick a finger in my right ear. Mary Beth had gotten ushered up to a front seat and I was in the back. Towards the end I made my way up to her and it was during the final song and for that being so close started to give me a headache. But then I was fine. We ended the night with some Gilmore Girls. Okay!
