Bloop Blob

Yesterday at noon I took part in a fun live musical collaboration hosted by Kristina Warren. I mean, except that I wasn't set up or ready at all for it. I was having trouble getting it set up with the connection to my computer and I didn't have time to finish setting up my patch as I'd wanted. I didn't really have any envelopes set up so I had limited control over making sound start and stop so I probably over-droned over everything (also had limited abilities to change sounds...pretty much just had a bunch of oscillators plugged into filters with some reverb options). It was over jamulus and I had it but I couldn't find where to connect via the instructions that were given. So I installed a more recent version and then was able to, but that took a while and things were already underway by then. So it was a series of prompts offered by Kristina. Anyway, I had fun with what I was able to manage. I'd recorded my side hoping to put it out there as I do with my live shows, but I don't know if it's good enough for release on its own. There's some good stuff in there, but... Maybe with some alterations. I started to try some stuff, but I dunno. Mary Beth and I ate dinner outside on the deck last night enjoying the cool weather (we did a few nights before as well but I forgot to mention...weather has been actually September-like so far which it hasn't really at all in recent years). We also took a little walk around towards twilight. We watched a little bit of The Simpsons at night. Um. That's about it really.
