After work yesterday Mary Beth and I went for a walk to the park. Later at night we caught up with the latest Brooklyn 99 and then watched a bit of Daria (finishing the second season). This morning after I woke up I finished reading Seven Gothic Tales by Isak Dinesen. It was quite good. Thematically, a lot of it reminds me of Faulkner, though stylistically it holds more to the formal, bygone era that it's depicting in its decay. In that style though, it's very well written. It can feel a little long winded in parts but the parts that hit hit really well and there's much to admire throughout. I had a deployment for work this morning but it's over and it didn't last very long. Now, let the Saturday begin.
