Mary Beth's dad had a successful surgery (hip replacement) the day before yesterday and was actually released from the hospital yesterday and is home now. Everyone at the hospital was apparently talking about how they've never seen anyone released after a surgery so quickly. There probably was a bit of pushing it along to free up beds in the hospital and all that. But he did pass their tests as ready to go home. And he was probably motivated a bit by being alone in a hospital where he couldn't even receive any visitors. Anyway, it's good news. Not much other than that. Getting annoyed by political argument. Mary Beth and I watched more Daria last night. That about does it.
