Mary Beth and i had our own christmas exchange today...first, my stocking stuffers: i can three cans of Dagoba drinking chocolate (authentic, xocaltl, and unsweetened) which, if you're aware of my anti-slavery moralish chocolate restrictions, is fuckin' awesome! i haven't had hot choclate in forever! (and, if you know me, hot chocolate is one of my favoritest things!) and also a little thing of peppermint lip balm...then for the presents: Life a User's Manual by Georges Perec (very timely as i'm still reading that Review of Contemporary Fiction all about him...) and Minimal Compact: One + One by One...i'd never heard of this band, but apparently it's this really good postpunk band of israelites relocated in holland...i like discovering new bands! christmas with the wife is fun! oh, and playing with cats who got a new toy and spray-on catnip...and the box that the present from Mary Beth's parents came in...the present was a fancy leather messenger bag, which will make a good laptop case or be a good bag for me as a teacher and all professional lookin', also a shirt too...anyway, merry christmas and some junk...
