does their email address start w/ "rtra"? or was it "sent to" some other email address w/ the same first few letters as theirs?

Completely different... the to: address in the header wasn't even the same as my friend's email address. So it looks like a mass-mailing of some sort, but they weren't advertising anything, and I don't think there was a virus or anything attached...
