ateolfthe night before last: i'm all tired from the small amounts of sleep required to get some hw done so i went to sleep early after class (like 9:30)...i woke up a little after 2 from some dream where i was about to get killed...i went downstairs to get something to drink...just as i'm getting back to sleep (4ish) my dad comes in and turns the light on and asks me where his cd player is so i give it to him then he's like "this is the second night in a row you've woken me up at two in the morning walking up the stairs" blah blah blah...and going out to get something from his car or whatever he opened and shut the fucking garage door...(i'm right above the garage...it makes much noise espeically when i'm trying to sleep...) then starts working out on the treadmill (in the garage) which also vibrates my room and makes falling asleep difficult...
yesterday: but all in all i managed to get a lot of sleep (my 9pm headstard did me well...) once again my walking class barely met...we met for a "lecture" where she just handed out the notes and we were free to go...after school i went by the bank and got a money order for $450 for the Marshall amp i am buying from NJ-rocker-Brian...then work...afterwards i stopped by the school library to look up the information on the project proposal online for models of comp...then i went over to Neils' for karaoke...first i did "Bizarre Love Triangle" which i actually did all normal, it being one of the few decent songs they have...though i did add Bernard Sumner-esque yelps...then i did "Here I Go Again on my Own" or whatever that Whitesnake song is called w/ Justin...and finally i did "Satisfaction" (in the style of Devo, over The Rolling Stones' version...which is pretty cool considering i was also singing at Devo's tempo, which is like twice as fast making it even more obnoxious...) this one guy who looks like Billy Corgan (also, the one time he ever sang anything was when he did that Joan Osborne song but changed the lyrics to be about drugs! woo shocking kids!) came up to the stage and yelled "you suck!" while giving me the finger (the middle one...) i was just like "thanks, baby" and blew a kiss at him...another thing, there was this cute indie chick there and my plan was that she'd see me do Satsifaction and be like oh wow that guy likes Devo and she'd talk to me 'cuz i'm so cool (what? if you're a pathetic, socially-inept geek then it makes PERFECT sense...) but she left before that...oh well, i'm sure it wouldn't've actually happened, in which case she's not good enough for me anyway...but in any case, it was funny 'cuz when the song first started ppl were like "yea! Satisfaction" their moods quickly changed...i went home and wrote up my project proposal...hopefully i'll finally get something he'll take...(as opposed to last semester...)
today: models of comp...afterwards i mailed Brian's money order so in the not-too-distant future i should be having an amp...that makes me happy...other class not too long from now...that be all...
