Yesterday in the morning, while on a phone call with Mary Beth's parents, I stepped in Trudy's cat food. That was fun! In the afternoon I went over to my parents' for the Christmas thing. It was pretty fine and low key. My main present was a video camera (along with bag and tripod). It was something I'd just asked for, first time I'd asked for something in a good while. I have an idea for live streaming future Memphis Concrète shows, so this is to facilitate that. I've gotta play around and figure out a setup, but yeah and stuff. At one point, I'd asked Anthony if he'd been in the snow and he hadn't and I suggested he should make snowballs. And he said something about going out and making one and taking it back inside and throwing it at Jason. And I encouraged this. He did go out and get a snowball but didn't want to actually throw it at Jason inside but asked him to go outside so he could throw it at him (he did not take up the offer). I volunteered to go out and have a snowball thrown at me in his stead. So he did but the only place with any snow left to gather up was the back deck and it was all powder so the snowballs just went poof as soon as they left your hand. I also gathered up a snowball and throw it but it was the same. Still fun to do for a second (except for me not having good snowball gloves and my hands getting cold). We both together also got to hug and pet Leia. There was food. My dad just had on a football game the whole time (then when that was over it was another football game). The roads had been pretty clear by then and driving out and back was fine. Later at night after getting back home, Mary Beth and I opened some Christmas-crackers (not, like I originally was thinking, crackers you eat but "-crackers" as in "firecrackers", some weird British thing where you open this thing and it pops and there's a cool prize inside...like a spoon...). I got, yes, the spoon, and Mary Beth got a magic-eight-dreidel. This morning, just a little after waking up, it started snowing again! It feels like it's coming down even more than a few days ago.
