Litter Litter

Had an awful and harrowing experience with the garbage yesterday. So, some workers had been working on the roof for most of the week and they'd thrown out of some of their refuse into our garbage bin. This made the bin very heavy and the garbage collectors wouldn't pick it up. So we just had to get rid of the trash ourselves. Other than this trash, there was a bunch of cat litter. While we're out of town, we leave out extra litter boxes for Trudy and so all the litter from the extra boxes was dumped out. Mostly amounting to two trash bags of litter, and one was mostly just plain, unused litter. Fine, but now we have to get rid of all this ourselves and there were a bunch of loose nails just thrown in the bin from the roofing as well. Anyway, getting these fucking bags of litter out (at least the first one, learned better by the second) made a bit of a mess. And we took all this garbage over to the big receptacle at the complex next door (don't like using their trash, but didn't have much of a choice this time). Anyway, messy and sucky and a bit of a pain. But we got it done. I neglected to mention last time that I finally got a subscription to Lupa (the app where you have guided listening to the Spanish NPR podcast). So continuing to use it, I think it'll be helpful getting in a little bit every day (and it's broken up into chapters of just a few minutes (that won't GROW as it gets harder like duolingo and have what was a few minutes early on turn into an hour later). Also supplementing with readings from my old school book that's very helpful. Okay, that's all I've got now.
