Lost Highway

Yesterday Mary Beth and I did our Fresh Market grocery run during my lunch break. I took another covid test and I'm finally clean! Had a feeling I was. It'd been a while. Any lingering cough is JUST ME (inflamed tissue left over after the infection) and not any actual infection itself. This tends to happen to me where after I'm sick I get stuck with a cough for too long. It's annoying but at least it's not covid. I went to the Indie Memphis screening of Lost Highway up at Crosstown last night. I hadn't seen it in a long time and it was good to see! I still probably have a similar assessment (far from his best, but still good, and partly its assessment is overshadowed by Mulholland Drive which did similar things afterwards, but better). Robert Blake is still the creepiest thing in the movie (and in just about any movie). Watching it again probably raised it in my esteem just a little bit. I'd forgotten how little Bill Pullman is in the actual movie. Anyway, I'm just sort of rambling now. It was good! Afterwards I ran into Zach and Kole and we chatted a little bit. Okay, this week's not over yet.
