we practiced for the first time in about two months (since the last show) yesterday...that was a very good thing to happen...we weren't that great, obviously, having not played together in two months, but this should start becoming regular again so as to avoid that happening again...i even got a blister on my finger from playing bass...out of shape, yo...we played "Taken" like 3 times though we never actually finished it once...the last time, somewhere in the middle of the song, the fifth fret of Jacques' Mustang got fucked up somehow...it was a step beyond buzzing, where the note won't sustain there and just goes "plink"...then we played "Homage" once w/ our speed all over the place...and finally (we didn't have a whole lot of time) we did "Uncurable"...towards the end i was barely able to hold my fingers down right, as was when we first started playing the song those months ago...out of shape, man...but a few more practices, some more WOODSHEDDIN' and we should be back up to our previous, typical, medicore skill level...

after class i went over to the apartment of David and Paul for the next weekly installment of the Twin Peaks marathon...Brad showed up after a while too...and afterwards i spent a couple half-asleep hours chillin' 'n' talkin' w/ this Paul...and i guess that's all i haves for sayin'...
