the end of an era
Sep. 2nd, 2001 08:09 pmThe Apartment as The Apartment is no more...all the young dudes are in the process of moving out...Paul and David got themselves a new apartment and are currently moving into it...Jacques and Amber think they have a place to move to...for now their stuff's being taken to Jacques' mom's house...i moved some of my stuff out of there last night (the nes, the trombone...no i didn't live there, i just spent far too much time over there the past few years...) so yea...
i'm currently in the midst of a 4 day weekend...that's pretty rad...though i wish it were a weekend from work...but no such luck...in fact i've been to/will be at work every day of it...bollocks to work...
yesterday was cool 'cuz i made a delivery to the zoo admistration office and it was this cute chick that gave me a $18 for a $10.70something order...and right after i left there, at a red light waiting to turn, Jacques pulled up shouting a death-defying shriek of metal...not much time for a conversation durring the duration of the traffic signal, but he did inform me that he was, at that moment, listening to Kiss...
today sucked at FedEx...there was hardly anyone there, i'm guessing due to labor day weekend and all, so it all happened a lot longer than it normally does...i was there for like 6 and a half hours...i guess more money's cool but i was damned tired...and i missed the beginning of Futurama...funk dat...
oh yea...and the other night Brad and i gave each other very sensual, homoerotic foot massages while Keith looked on and Chris painted the bathroom the red of our flaming love...i believe this all stemmed from the evening's earlier two hours of swappin' pizza boy stories...Chris, who was the only one of us never to have had such a rank, was really bored...and i think the connection to how the events escalated from there is pretty obvious...
