as you can prob'ly see by my Current Music, i got it!!! i'll start by filling in details from my attempt on monday...i went to Lastchance, they had it last week but it was all gone...then i went to Shangri-La but they didn't have it...i was w/ Justin and he wanted to go to the Wherehouse on Perkins...so we went there...they didn't have it, as i would've guessed...but used i found those other 2 cds...(Crass and Wire) oh yea...i got The Fall cd at Shangri-La...i had made the decision last week that i'm going to become obsessed w/ The Fall...i also went by the Wherehouse on Poplar and Borders and, of course, they didn't have it either...) but Ruth at Lastchance said they might get it in wednesday (today)...so i came back today...they hadn't...no one had even ordered it...back to Shangri-La...no...swung by CD Warehouse on the way home (doubting they would) they didn't...then as a last despearte guess...i went to fucking Cats in Germantown...i didn't see it so i attacked the "dog pound" (their used bin) where i found a Muslimgauze: Betrayal for $3 and what i thought was a Mouse on Mars cd for $2...then right after i bought 'em and was leaving i saw the employees' picks rack and there was the new Unwound album sitting there...ack! so i grabbed it and went straight back to the counter and bought that...i headed home (i had been in a rush to catch The Simpsons...which i was late for, but it's one i've seen many thousands of times...though still a ruling one...) but i had noticed when i got home the cd i got was NOT at all Mouse on Mars...but some group called Marvellous 3...i don't know how i made that fucking mistake! well...i think the big sticker on the front and my being in a hurry helped...then i went back asking 'em if i could take it back, they said i could as a trade...so i looked some more but couldn't find too much worth getting...i finally settled on an Orbital cd (The Middle of Nowhere) that was $4...i went home, gave it a quick listen...decided while some of it was really good, a lot of it was really monotonous...and i decided it wasn't something i'd find myself wanting to listen to much...so i went back but the first girl that was there wasn't (and just the girl that came in sometime between my first and second visits was there...) she said she wasn't supposed to have taken the first one back and she couldn't take this one back...bah...it's not terrible...i'll just try selling it elsewhere (prob'ly Lastchance) for not too much loss...but:

the new Unwound FUCKING RULES! it's 2 discs...and there's a couple videos on it too...i haven't gotten to watching those yet...currently on disc 2...it's REALLYREALLYREALLY good though...i'm thinking it might be their best...i'm thinking it prob'ly is...it's truly amazing...

i guess there's more stuff i need to say, but i just felt like mentioning this for now...but dear lord this is an amazing album...i had been getting worried after the long gap that was developing since their last album in '98...and they had pretty much had one album a year before that...though the A Single History held me over...but this is well worth the wait...a lot of work went into the production...the production's amazing...they produced it themselves, which is cool...they're not touring now...i hope they do soon...but enough fanboy ranting...but my view as them being my 4th favorite band ever has been solidified some more, i think...

both parents were out of town and i was wanting to see if you wanted to rawk...(as it implies far less considerations for time and rockitude (or volume...whatever you call it...)) though that moment has passed...

and that's a totally pussified picture...
