V-day

i didn't do very much studying at all yesterday...i bombed my physics test, today...oh well...i guess i'd better start actually studying and doing the homework now...and not just on the nights before...like actually keep up and stuff...and i prob'ly should start in calculus too...it's starting to get harder and all...and just so everyone knows, Two Dollar Guitar is the perfect Valentine's Day music...well, great music for most any occasion...but the bitter depression makes it even better for this day...although the day really isn't getting to me...i really don't care one way or the other...i'm currently isolated from the world enough so...yea...or something...and i've got my spanish crap to occupy my thoughts/time enough anyhow...not that it is or anything, but hopefully i'll stop being a lazy bastard soon enough...i'm thinking i might though..."today is just like any other day, it's here and it's gone" sorry, random Two Dollar Guitar quote as i hear it...but anyhow, yes...i should be getting to those two spanish papers and the book reading/actividades soon...

I really, really like TDG's Burned and Buried album . . .
I'll pay you whatever you like for a V-Day mix tape, should you get inspired to make one. I have a few more road trips in my near future, and can only listen to the SY tape so many times in a row :)

ummm...if you give a blank 2 hr tape i'll tape the "show"...although i'm starting to have doubt as to if i'll be able to fit everything necessary in the short span of two hrs...i'm sure i could easily fill 2 hrs of tape w/ just Two Dollar Guitar and The Cure...prob'ly 2 hrs for each band alone...especially The Cure, as their career is a few times longer than that of Two Dollar Guitar's...although Tim Foljahn's far more consistent w/ his depressing anti-loveness than Mr. Smith...it's like, near impossible to pick one of their songs that wouldn't fit in well (not counting the instrumentals, of course...) what was i talking about?

I'll do better than that. I'll give you TWO two-hour blank tapes, and you can keep the other one for yourself (or make two for me . . . I'd be in absolute heaven with just one, but TWO . . .)
It's too bad you won't be out this evening (even for an hour) as I could give you the tapes then . . . Ah, well, we can meet one of these days/evenings on campus, I suppose :) You mention going to pick up Paul at Patterson, well, I hold hours there a lot, so let me know when you'll next be there and I can come down from the fourth floor to meet you (with the tapes).
I miss Thursday nights at my house. Do you know that I haven't been inspired to clean up since you guys stopped coming over for the writer's group?
