got up and took in a bunch of stuff to the repair shop on highland: my bass amp, the ARP Avatar, the Pearl Syncussion, and the cable that goes w/ the Moog...(there's a short and it cracks whenever it gets moved around, pretty inconvenient for a synth you strap on like a guitar...) i asked 'em if they could get the cable done in a few days (the others'll be like 3 weeks) 'cuz of the show and all...they said they should be able to...if not i'll pick it up unfixed and take it back to 'em after the show...i mean, it works if you stand still and all...and THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!! there was this younger guy there who all seemed a little excited to see my equipment...he was like "i'm into vintage analog synths and not many ppl bring stuff like this in here"...and i think the older guy actually recognized the Pearl synth...he seemed crankier than when Jacques and i talked to him on saturday though...hopefully my stuff can be repaired...well, the amp and the cable are a given i guess...hopefully the SYNTHS can be repaired (and hopefully Chris DIES...) went to work...after that we had practice...we worked on some songs and are once again re-arranging the lineup on "Taken"...to avoid any conflicts that might arise w/ having to put the mic by the drums so i can sing whilst drumming, i'm back to playing bass (which is kind've nice...that bassline's like my baby or something...) and Brad's taken the helm on the drums...Paul will now be rocking the glorious synthesizer...as the Moog cable's in the shop now we substituted it w/ the Korg...the low notes get a surprisingly close sound to the Moog's...of course w/out the brilliant pitch ribbon or rockin' modulation features...but it works for practice and whatnot...afterwards i went over to Brad's...i was able to bring my 3 garbage bags of laundry (our washing machine's been broken...) we watched Beavis and Butthead Do America (a true cinematic classic) and had the Deli deliver us some food...now i'm sitting here in my room looking at Lizzie and Lacey sleep next to each other on my bed...now i might venture to say that dogs are even cooler than cds...
