Southern Accents in Rural Ohio

I got a few cds in the mail: Kotra: Radness Methods, Kotra: Grit Light, and Kotra: Icon XXI Century. Then in the evening I went over to Off the Walls where Drop Ceiling was doing a live score to Gummo in their practice space. Aside from those in the group, I also saw Karl and Gretchen. I'd never seen Gummo before. Well, the music they played was great anyway. Thought Gummo was a pretty terrible movie. For it being so edgy and shocking and all, it felt pretty tedious. Anyway, that's about that. Oh shit! I almost forgot the biggest news of all. I've been on call for federal jury duty this month. So I have to call in every evening to see if I have to come in the next day. Nothing so far all this month for three weeks but then yesterday I finally got the call. I have to go in on Monday. And damn if that just isn't the worst week! The week I have three very important things going on! (MC show I booked, Kraftwerk in the park!, and the show I'm playing...) I don't think the jury duty during the day should affect what's happening at night (unless I'm sequestered?) so hopefully this goes okay. But we'll fuckin' see.
