Viewing

There was kind of a viewing for my mom at the cemetery/funeral home in the early afternoon. I went and my dad and sister were also there. I think it was something of a "formal identification." I figured I should go to be there for my dad. I think it was good, because my dad, who is usually stoic and doesn't let much of anything out, was visibly distraught for the first time I saw (and maybe Christina too). After it was over I suggested taking them out to eat if they hadn't had lunch yet. So we went to Casablanca as it's the only thing nearby I could think of. But I think it's always good. Later in the evening I finished reading The Ministry of Utmost Happiness by Arundhati Roy and it was good. Then I brought Jacques his keyboard amp back. I'd had it since around that T.O. Fuller show as I'd planned on using it but couldn't fit it with everything else in the car so didn't but it's just been sitting over here. We sat and talked awhile and Neely came over too as they were doing laundry (their living situation is kinda weird as they're in an in between state with moving to Michigan). And I sat over there awhile talking (some, I mean they probably did most of the talking).
