Miles from Something

I've mentioned in the past on here how my old Miles from Somewhere cdr single had bad disc rot. I was able to rip something when I got to it in my ripping project, but only the last half of the second song (of two) was recognizable. The sounds starts off severely distorted and it gradually lessened throughout the nine or so minutes. (Actually, in the beginning it sound really cool, like a little 1-bit rhythm, but of course it sounds nothing like the original song.) Anyway, someone had mentioned Nick (the main guy in Miles from Somewhere, he died about nine years ago) on a fb post and that led me to his old fb page and I was going through reminiscing a little bit and saw a post from my friend Heather when he died, talking about that and in the post mentioning how she was glad she still had her Miles from Somewhere cd. So I reached out to her to see if she still happened to have it (and also if it still even played!) and while she didn't have the cd itself, she did have the songs ripped on her computer and she was able to send them to me and I was able to listen to them for the first time in probably like twenty years or something! So that was nice!
