Into Night

Yesterday after work Mary Beth and I took a walk. It's starting to get cold. We played with the dog Helen through the fence. She's so friendly and sweet! I'd move my arms and she'd just start running back and forth. She's always seemed friendly to us but this is the first time we stopped and kinda played with her like that. We also saw Peanut hanging around a porch on the other side of the block (never seen him over there). Later at night I finished reading Long Day's Journey into Night by Eugene O'Neill and it was really good. It felt very familiar as it started off (you know, all those mid-century plays that followed in its wake) and it was good though as it went on it kept getting more layered and everything and exceeded my expectations. Anyway.
