A Walk in the Park
Apr. 29th, 2019 05:31 pmYesterday I took a little trip out to Replays, one of those strip-mall used cd places that mostly disappeared (didn't know this one was around until I found out recently that it's...disappearing). So I wanted to give it a little glance-over before it went away for good. I picked up a couple things: McCoy Tyner: The Real McCoy, Slowdive: s/t, and Björk: Volta. Then Mary Beth and I went for another perfect-day walk to the park and it was very nice. Later we watched Meeting People Is Easy (the post-OK Computer Radiohead documentary). Hadn't seen it in a very long time (maybe since the very late 90s?). Anyway, about how I remembered it but was nice to see again. The "creep, dickhead" scene is choice. Also interesting to see the early version of "How to Disappear Completely" and the very very early version of "Nude" (which definitely developed a lot in the ten years or so it took to make it to an album!). Okay then work today and now that's done and that's about it!
