Next Day

The Family Ghost did some recording yesterday. We finally came to the consenus that that pop song Jacques sings (now titled "Cameras") needed to be scrapped and started over. So we now utilizing a click track. I wanted to do it like before, starting with the guitar and bass together, but Jacques and Paul wanted to record their parts separately so we did. We got Jacques's guitar down, then Paul's bass, and then Ryan came up with a guitar part. He had to go to a wedding, so we only got some sections of it recorded. Afterwards, Jacques went out with Mary Beth and I and we tried this place called Jack's Bar-B-Q Rib Shack on Summer. Never been there before, but it was awesome. The brisket was great. The atmosphere was incredible. Wood panel 70s time warp. After we came back, Jacques and I put down the drum machine for the new version of "Histrionics." Mary Beth went and tried that newish place ¡Chiwawa! and in spite of some reservations, it was really good. The hotdogs were awesome. We did a dessert search after that and ended up at Lucchesi's for some cake which we ate on the deck. Well, it's Sunday and I need to do more getting ready for work. Finish my grades, etc. I neglected to mention in my last post some shirts I'd gotten. The Thursday before last I got one for Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison and then earlier this week (Monday, Tuesday?) I got one for 1984 gy George Orwell. Anyway, stuff.
