very very stupid...

a few things...currnetly on my mind, w/ less than 24 hrs left, is the fact that i still cannot find my Camy's W-2 form...i really do not want to have to call up that place to get another copy...but that's what it's looking like i'll have to do...as the hours have passed, my fears that the piece of paper i'm looking for is sitting atop a landfill within a hundred miles from here...i've been tearing my room apart tonight...the possibilities for places it can be in here are diminishing rather quickly...my only guess is that a while back it accidentally made its way amongst some papers i was throwing away...as i found my other W-2 on the floor, that's not such a distant possiblity...but that's really sad 'cuz i hardly EVER throw ANYTHING away...going through all the garbage i've been going through makes that quite plain...if nothing else, this has been a crucial factor in getting any cleaning done in my room...

in other news: last night i actually got to bed early...but i was awoken by my mother like 4 hours later and couldn't get back to sleep so i was up all night...i did some searching, but not nearly as much as tonight...and not nearly as panic-ridden...but just before i went to sleep, at around 8am or so, i heard some barking that sounded like it did not come from the backyard...looked out the window and sure enough i saw Lacey running across the front yard...so i went out to get her...Lizzie was outside too...they came in no problem and i went to sleep...tonight my mom told me, she found Lizzie bleeding this morning...she took her to the vet and there's a puncture of some sort on her thigh and a smaller cut on her front leg...we're not sure what happened...the vet says it most looks like a dog bite...i know it couldn't have been one of the others...listing the logical reasons would be too detailed and boring right now so i won't...i'm wondering if something happened while they had gotten out front...i didn't notice anything when i let them in, but i was on my way to bed and not fully alert...also, i was looking to see if Leala was outside too (but she was inside anyway...) Lacey was running toward the street, but Lizze was just standing around the carport area...it could have been something that happened later, but i don't know...Lizzie's gonna have surgery tomorrow too...to get fixed...i guess she's alright, but it is a bit disturbing seeing your dog bleeding and cut up on the side...

did not end up finding that W-2...so i called Camy early in the morn' and she said the Paychex ppl are backed up at this time but she'll have them mail me another copy...biggity bollocks! well, i looked some more, still couldn't find it so i filed for an extension...it was surprisingly easy...i did it over the phone...it's really funny hearing the pleasant, automated vocie saying "thank you for electronically filing your 4868 form" makes me feel like i'm in Brazil (the movie, not the country...) by the time i had all of this done and went to bed it was after 11am...i had less than 2 hrs to sleep for class...did not wake up...so i missed my first day of class for this semester...oh bloody well...fuckin' government brining me down...one other thing to share: last night, i ended up making my Danelectro strap-able...when i got it long ago, it came w/ just one nub thingie for a strap to hook to...like how acoustic guitars work...which is gay, i don't wanna get a gay acoustic strap...so a while later (also a long time ago) i went and bought a strap nub thingie kit...the object is to screw it into your guitar in a new spot...but i don't wanna drill no damned holes in my guitar...it already has screws in the back...i was just gonna take the nub thingie and put one of the already-existing screws into it...well, it turns out the screw it was designed for is a bit smaller than the screws already in my guitar...so i was thwarted...but i had an idea to MAKE it fit...last night i finally got around to it...w/ the use of a hammer and some forceful screwing (wow...that sounds like the makin's for a really good porn) i was able to get the damned thing to fit on the screw!!! woo! so now i can play my Danelectro while standing! pretty damned convenient...
