ateolfin a last minute decision, i decided to go see Automusik at the Deli w/ Paul last night...though it being a last minute decision and living close to 30 min away from midtown, i missed the band i had come to see...haven't seen 'em and i'm curious...the second band in the lineup though featured Jacques' best friend J.D. on drums, and i *think* this guy John Murphy (that Brad kind've knows) was one of the guitar/vocals guys...they were OKAY...a bit of a 7th rate Pavement, but 7th rate Pavement is still better than most things...though they had one song that fucking ruled...mostly it was that standard indie sound that we heard so much of in the mid-90s...and the guy that i think is John Murphy was making these stupid faces and jumping around and it was kind've annoying...he was playing a Jazzmaster...it should be MINE...then it was the Subteens...it was okay, i mean, it's the Subteens, rock and roll...yea...afterwards we went to IHOP w/ Pixie...then home...then class this morning...took my big walking exam...and now it's spring break...i guess that means it's time for some hot naked sorority coed action...
note to Jacques: so, this being spring break means that for more than a week now there is not one day i'll haveta wake up early for school...and now that Brad is no longer at Dominos he doesn't have to wake up early anymore either...i hope you can pick up on the strong hint here...this also includes tonight after the Tristeza show/your work (whichever ends first, that is if you still can't get off for the show...hopefully you can though, Stream are fucking twats for that...) it's already been discussed w/ the rest of the band...lemme know, dawg...
