>>To bounce to: the music to Pac Man

I've always had a soft spot for the music from Bubble Bobble.

Band you're embarrassed to like: Nirvana...though i only like some of their stuff...

Why embarrassed? Nirvana's the main reason why I found out about Sonic Youth, The Melvins, the Meat Puppets, etc. And they had fucking catchy songs.

yea but there was the whole alterna-teeny-bopper thing back in the day...(thought that's back when they were one of my favorite bands...) and i only like about half their stuff anyway...not TOO long ago i went and regot Incesticide...all the songs that i remembered still ruled, though all the songs i had forgotten about are a bit metal/not good...and the majority of the good songs on that album are covers anyway...and i don't really like Nevermind at all...and there's prob'ly a lot of other stuff that would've been a better answer for the question, but this survey had 50000000 questions and it was hard to get good answers for 'em all...

The teeny bopper presence didn't really register to me and shouldn't be a factor into liking a band or not. I just remember reading interviews with them and them plugging underground bands.

Incesticide has 3 covers on it.

Nevermind's production's dated, but the groove of the album has always stuck with me. I never understand the kids that disavow ever liking bands like Nirvana or other stuff that people around our ages grew up with. There's those folks and then there's the kids that refuse to move on.

the teeny-bopper presence isn't a factor in not liking them, just the emberassment...and it did register w/ me, as i was one of them...

and the 3 covers are like half of the really good songs...

and i don't disavow it...i even still like some of it...and there's many far far more emberassing things i'll admit to having liked...there's little that's more fun than making fun of yourself...

I hate the term guilty pleasure, cuz you should be able to like what you like, but I always get a twinge of embarrassment when I listen to Def Leppard's High and Dry. I don't know, it's still an album that I have memorized. I've got the solo for "Lady Strange" forever in my head.

I also like the chorus in that Filter "Take a Picture" song.

Whatever!! Anything that requires you to talk that much about music makes you cream your jeans :)
