today i took my car in to get fixed...the brakes and whatever was wrong with the engine area...i don't even know if much was really wrong other than the brakes and i think they just did some crap to just rip me off...fine whatever..i sat up there reading for about an hour then got Josh to pick me up...when i got back home there was a giganormous box waiting for me in the kitchen...Josh helped me bring it in and of course it was my new Otari MX-5050 2 channel reel to reel recorder...so that's pretty swell i guess...hopefully we can get the Fostex in order so we can put it to use (i.e. have an album mixed down...) also i took 5 dumps today...it was insane...then Jacques came and took me to pick my car up after he got off work...at least the maintenance light isn't on anymore...my brakes don't make noise...i'm can't tell if the car's any quieter...or driven it enough to see if it still jumps a little while driving or whatever...i don't know i fucking hate cars...anyway i'd better not have to do any more shit on this one in forever...i just spent way too much goddamned money...oh well...that's all...
