Holiday Day

In the afternoon, we went over to my parents' house for the whole Christmas thing. Everyone was there. We ate some and then we did some presents. I got a big rotating cd tower (needed as I've run out of room on my current towers and there's also not really any more wall space for more like them, now I just have to assemble it). My sister told us that my dad has been dating, or at least been on a date (apparently with a neighbor). It's a little weird to think about in that unthinking way, but I guess that's just what comes from being a child at almost fifty. Not a lot else to report right now. I had this dream last night where I was trying to get Josh into The Velvet Underground (pretty sure he is already a fan, but it's a dream, and I pretty much know where the pieces that made it up come from) and so I got him VU & Nico and he ended up not liking it and the reason he gave is that all of the songs sound like they're about people who could have neck tattoos. I was amused by it when I woke up.
