Thanksday

Had a pretty chill start of the holiday. I did one final tweak and submitted my track for the challenge that I'd worked on on Sunday. Mary Beth and I ended up finishing up Unbelievable. It was really good. That penultimate episode was pretty emotional too (I mean, a lot of it was anyway). Aside from everything else, I liked how it captured the uncertainty of an investigation. Even when they've got the criminal towards the end, there's a constant feeling there's about to be a twist or something. There isn't, but it's just that feeling of, we've got him but you never know what's going to stick or not. And throughout there were a few things I thought would come back, because they would in a traditionally dramatic sense, but they don't and they're dead ends, just like in the actual investigation. Anyway, the whole thing was real good and not just the procedural aspects. Then we watched a little Gavin and Stacey. Now it's Thanksgiving day and we'll see what goes.
