Midweek

Monday was nice because there weren't any students, just an in-service and parent conferences. I had a few parents. This week my geometry classes have been working on a project so I've mostly just been running with this. Yesterday all the bridge math classes were taken to this exhibity by the army. It was kinda gross straight-up propaganda in a: being in the army is just like playing Call of Duty and play all these fun videogame simulations of awesome weaponry. But hey, that made for a whole week of not teaching it any (as Kaplan's there the rest of the week). Mary Beth and I finished Get a Life the other night. Uh, yesterday I got a couple cds in the mail: Gescom: MiniDisc and X-TG: Desertshore: the Final Report. There were a bunch of fights at the end of last week and the school's on lockdown for lunch. Every teacher has to walk their kids to the auditorium and all this shit. Well hey, I'm trying to step up my game with discipline as well. We didn't have a faculty meeting today. That was nice. Um.

It's good. Listening to it a second time, I don't care at all for Antony's vocals. Overall it sounds like you'd expect. The disc of Nico covers falls a hair towards Sleazy's more "spooky" kinda Coil sound. The second disc has a pretty improv-heavy TG feel. Hasn't fully sunk in, probably not as great as The Endless Not, but definitely worth picking up for any TG fans. The Carter Tutti Void from last year is also great.
