laundry day

mostly just been sittin' around relaxin' and watchin' tv this weekend...yesterday Mary Beth and i had to go to the laundromat to do a ton of laundry...not sure if i mentioned it at the time, but our brand new washing machine broke down just a couple weeks after getting it...hopefully someone should be able to do something about it, but we've been spending time waiting from a response from the manufacturer who then said we should be talking to someone else...so in the meantime, lots of dirty clothes...well, still in the middle of my weekend so...

Horrific! I remember when ours went out a few years back. Even though at that point most of my laundry experience had been in those places, it just felt like stepping into a different world full of burning polyester and filthy folding tables. I do sort of miss the strange permanent powdered-detergent smell though.

it wasn't too bad, but owning working appliances is definitely a plus!
