again

went over to Justin's...he then drug me to CD Warehouse even though i didn't wanna go cd shopping 'cuz i didn't wanna keep spending my damned money...i almost got out undamaged...i did actually...but then just as i walked out the door i noticed the new arrivals bin so i hopped back in and gave a little gander through that...w/in i found the cd that i am currently listening to, and bought it..(of course) oh well...it was a well-needed purchase...and good to find used...even if the used price wasn't THAT much lower than new...(well...i guess it was a little less than $10 so that's pretty good an' all...i'm guessing...) but damnit...i'm spending too much money...grrr...and then there's the show tonight where i'll be spending more...oh well...when i got back home i finished reading Chronicle of a Death Foretold...it's a REALLY good book, i must say...maybe one day i'll read it in its original spanish...as i was supposed to have done this time...oh well...pansy power, or something...

yea...his stuff around this time is damned great...although a few bits of this album get a little "wanky" (mostly in the guitar) it's mostly pretty damned good...when i first heard someone call this "fusion" i was like "what? this isn't fusion...fusion sucks" i had no idea fusion started out as an actually valid genre...although i still like Coltrane better than Davis, he's still quite fucking great...
