some books in the mail: After Dark by Haruki Murakami, Speed-Kentucky Ham by William S. Burroughs Jr., and Selected Poems by Jorge Luis Borges...that's about it for now...
awesome! i do like Murakami, and i recall reading the opening paragraph a while back (when it first came out in hardcover over here) and being mightily impressed...
I read Kafka on the Shore a few months ago. My first and only Murakami, so far. I've heard excellent things about some of his other books. Notably Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle. I'll have to check into this as well. So many books, so little time eh?
i've read quite a few of his books, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World is by far the best...it's a REALLY great book...next in line would probably be The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (though that one was the first i read...)
